The real test comes in year five, year ten and year twenty: does the shell stay watertight through monsoon after monsoon, does the water stay clear without a chemistry fight every weekend, and is the builder still answering the phone?

The five tests of a great swimming pool builder
- A written structural warranty. Verbal promises are worth nothing when a crack appears in year four. Ask for the warranty period, what it covers (shell, waterproofing, cracks) and whether it is written into the contract. Moothedan’s 10-year structural warranty is written into every contract.
- Engineering, not just construction. Soil testing, rebar schedules, concrete grade (M25/M30 with waterproofing admixture), pressure testing of plumbing, and proper curing. A builder who cannot show you a structural drawing is guessing.
- Filtration and water quality. Clear water is a system: filter micron rating, turnover rate, circulation design and dosing. This is where most pools quietly fail, and where Moothedan pools differ most (see below).
